Durham Coast PCN
East Durham Medical Group is a member of Durham Coast Primary Care Network. (Formerly known as Easington District PCN)
We are a network of 4 local GP Practices representing the needs of over 32,000 patients.
Other members in our PCN include: Bevan Medical Group, South Dene Medical Centre, and Wingate Medical Practice.
We have been collectively working together since 2017, aiming to improve the healthcare and outcomes that we provide to our local population. Working in close collaboration with our colleagues and through the employment of new roles into General Practice we aim to make primary care more sustainable and provide our population with a highly skilled and experienced, multi-disciplinary team to meet all of their health needs.
Durham Coast PCN provides additional staff roles to our practice team. These include: Social Prescribing Link Worker, Care Coordinator, First Contact Physiotherapist, First Contact Mental Health Practitioner, Physician’s Associate, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
